At the Foreign Language Centre, registration for a language course is a prerequisite for participation in language classes and admittance to examinations. Notes on Registration and Withdrawal
- Students in their first term have been pre-registered for a regular foreign language course for their study programme, which is listed in their sample course schedule. If new students wish to take a different language or an additional language, they must independently register for this within the cut-off period (provided there are still free places) and withdraw their registration from the undesired language course already in their course schedule.
- Repeat students who have not automatically received a place after the second phase should consult the Language Group Directors during office hours or the Foreign Language Centre’s administrative office. Please bring along the LSF printout that includes a list of all the classes you have registered for.
- Severely handicapped people, single parents or competitive athletes who have registration problems should contact their department administration (see contact persons in the section for your Study Programme) and bring along the respective certificates and the LSF printout that includes a list of all the classes that have been registered for.
