The Media Centre is preferentially open to students of our language courses for self-study purposes.
Certificates for successfully completed language courses or participation in class are also handed out at the Media Centre to auditing and guest students, as well as students of certain study programmes at the HTW (see Examination and Assessment). Please bring a valid student ID or letter of authorisation if you would like to pick these up.

Media Inventory
Our media inventory contains titles in ten different languages: German as a foreign language, English, French, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Sweden, Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese.
For the public benefit of permanent availability, our inventory can, as a general rule, only be accessed on-site. However, because our inventory is labelled according to the HTW’s library signature system, it is possible to see which titles can be borrowed from the library by checking with the InfoGuide Catalogue
. To borrow textbooks, please use the main university library in Treskowallee or the branch libraries.

Technical Equipment
The Media Centre has 12 workstations, one of wich includes a multimedia PC with educational software installed. The remaining workstations allow students to practice their listening comprehension and also include two televisions.
