Language Courses
An up-to-date overview of all language courses offered incl. class hours and locations is available for download as a PDF file. The overview is sorted according to language and level of instruction. Every class has a signature and course number with which it can be identified for orientation purposes, registration or enquiries.

Information on the start of classes and other important notes on registration are only available at the LSF portal http://lsf.htw-berlin.de
.
In the LSF system, you can sort through the classes according to language, subject relevance and proficiency level to find suitable courses and, if desired, register for them right online (provided you are a student of the HTW). The study programme-specific language courses are also listed in the respective sample course schedules. Due to the alternatives of the language profile, a number of languages can be selected in various study programmes. Please refer to your study regulations to find out which language training alternatives apply to you!

The selection of intensive courses scheduled for the semester break is usually announced on this page six to eight weeks before the end of the term. Please consult the office hours of the Language Group Director if you have any questions.

Explanation of Course Signatures as Illustrated by an Example
The course signature consists of abbreviations for various content categories.
These appear in the following order: language, level, subject relevance and scope of course, course number, group number.
"En M2 Wv 01107 - 10" means
En = language: English
M2 = level: intermediate 2
W = subject relevance: business
v = scope of course: part one of a two-part course
01107 = course number
10 = group number
Please note:
In the LSF portal for class registration, the course number has been supplemented by the prefix 002 due to programming reasons.
