The HTW has an office for general course guidance where prospective students, applicants and students can obtain information regarding their studies or anything pertaining to student life.

Specialised Study Programme-Specific Counselling 

The advisors for specialised counselling from the individual study programmes can offer advice to prospective students, transferees from other universities and HTW students regarding issues concerning their specific study programme, deciding on classes, the recognition of academic credits after transferring, and much more.

Social and Psychological Counselling 

The "Studentenwerk" (student services) of Berlin offers free social counselling as well as psychological or psychotherapeutic counselling for students, also in English. You can find more information here:

Counselling Services from AStA 

"AStA", the student union, offers counselling support for students in all matters pertaining to their studies. It also runs the semester ticket office and issues the International Student Identity Card (ISIC).
