This competence centre seeks to elaborate the entire technological potential of electronic learning and pinpoint new approaches through which both the acceptance of such technologies and learning efficiency can be increased.
Past projects included the evaluation of an EU project called “Berlin companies go online”, the creation of a module and research into the didactics of video conferencing in the pilot project “virtual university of applied science” by the German Federal Ministry for Research and Education, an appraisal for the Hamburg-based e-learning initiative ELCH, and the development of e-learning platforms and their use in computer science studies.
