The Department of Economics I is one of the largest departments at the HTW Berlin. More than 2,500 students, including 60% female students and 8% foreign exchange students, are currently enrolled in the department's eight different study programmes.
Nearly 60 professors and more than 100 part-time lecturers share their knowledge and experience with their students. Numerous national and international partners at renowned universities also bolster our team, alongside our collaboration with the industry, numerous service sectors, public service facilities and trade associations. Many students decide to do internships with our partners, who provide them with the necessary hands-on experience for completing both their projects and final thesis.
